We recommend printing your tickets at home. However, if you have a smartphone, we are able to scan the tickets from your phone.

Can I switch the date of my ticket? I can’t make it on the night for which I purchased the ticket.

We highly suggest planning your trip to the haunted house in advance. If you can’t make it for the date, you bought your ticket, the face value of the ticket can be credited towards your new ticket. You will need to visit ticket counter upon arrival to update your ticket. Please note that, like many large events, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

They say there’s safety in numbers, so bring a friend, or 14! Dark Hour offers group rates of $8 off each ticket starting at parties of 15 or more. Group rate purchases must be made in a single transaction in advance online, or in person during normal operating hours. *Note that when purchasing group tickets online, the rates will automatically be adjusted at checkout for the group discount. No. You paid us to frighten you. If you can’t finish the experience, we’ll take it as a compliment. Like most large live events, we do not offer refunds.

On-Site / Day of Event

Are you open if it's raining?

YES. We are always open rain or shine. Dark Hour is 100% indoors and climate controlled with a large portion of the queue indoors during Halloween season. Much of the line during Halloween season is outside and under a large tent on concrete. On extremely busy nights the endmost part of the line will be outside of any cover.

How long is the wait in line?

It depends. During our September dates, the wait is usually very short. As it gets closer to Halloween, specifically on a Friday or Saturday night, the wait can be long. The closer you come to opening time the shorter the wait. We do offer a Fast Pass that reduces your wait substantially on very busy nights.

Is the waiting area inside?

A portion of the queue is indoors. A large portion of the outdoor queue is on concrete under a large tent. In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to make sure no one has to wait outdoors without any cover.

Is Dark Hour handicap accessible?

Yes, although there are certain areas that may have to be by-passed. We do provide a character escort to make navigating the dark hallways as smooth and yet as terrifying as possible.

Is there security?

Yes. We do our best to have our staff watch out for you. We always have off-duty police officers at the event for your safety.

Can we take photos and/or videos inside the haunted house?

No. Photography and video recording (including GoPros) are absolutely not permitted.

If I enter the haunted house and get too scared, what do I do?

If you get too scared, stay calm and tell the nearest actor and they will escort you outside. Please note, we do not give refunds under any circumstances. You paid us to scare you.

Can I bring my purse and/or bag into the haunted house?

We do not have lockers or a coat check at the haunted house. Very small purses and/or bags are allowed in, other bags should be left at home.

Do you charge for parking?

No. We offer free paved parking around the haunted house. On busier nights, our lot may fill up but there is usually available parking nearby. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not park in any reserved spots.

How long does it take to go through?

It’s difficult to give an accurate answer to this question- some people run right through, while others take their time. It really depends on how well you can handle the fear! Most groups spend 30-35 minutes.

Do you have strobe lights in the haunted house?

Yes. We have many strobe lights throughout the entire haunted house as well theatrical fog. It is not recommended for people that have Epilepsy go through the haunted house. We also don’t recommend Dark Hour for people with asthma, heart issues or who are pregnant. We want everyone to have a safe time. You can always ask your physician to see if you can go through, however, we just don’t want you to get hurt.

How large of a group can enter the haunted house?

The maximum group size is 8 people, but please keep in mind that this is self-paced show and not everyone travels the same speed when scared.  Especially on busy nights, some groups may meet up inside the haunt however, the show is designed to handle a large volume of people each night with maximum scares and entertainment for everyone.  Please always continue moving forward inside the haunt; you never know where the next scare might come from!

Will they touch us, or can we touch them?

No. Our monsters will not touch you. Please be respectful and do not touch them. Incidental and unintentional contact may occur, as they do get very close but they will not touch.

Are there live animals, reptiles, or insects inside?

The short answer is no. As far as live creatures go, there are many life-like creatures in the haunted house. If there are real animals, they will be handled by professionals.

Who Should / Shouldn't Attend

Is there an age limit?

No. We recommend Dark Hour for ages 10 & up. However, we will not allow anyone under the age of 5. It is largely up to you as a parent to know what your child can handle. Also, remember that each guest has to be able to walk on their own (we are wheelchair accessible). We’ve had grown men bail out before they even made it inside and we’ve had children as young as 5 go through the whole house and love it. Dark Hour contains many loud noises, dark and foggy areas, intense scares, monsters, and some mild gore. As a parent, please use your best discretion.

If I have asthma, can I go inside of the haunted house?

We do not recommend people with asthma go through the haunted house. We suggest contacting your Physician to discuss the situation with them since we have numerous fog effects throughout the haunted house. If your doctor thinks you’ll be fine, we definitely recommend bringing your inhaler or another device that may help you breathe better. We just want everyone to have a safe time.

Can I bring my dog?

No. We love our furry friends too, but the environment created at Dark Hour is definitely not one they’d enjoy. Even well-trained service animals are not effectively prepared for the environment that a haunted house presents. For the safety of our guests and staff, animals of any kind are not permitted to join you in your Dark Hour experience.

Can pregnant women go through the haunted house?

We do not recommend pregnant women go through the haunted house. We suggest calling your OBGYN and/or Physician to discuss the situation with them.

Can I bring my baby?

No.  Dark Hour is recommended for ages 10 & up. However, we will not allow anyone under the age of 5. EVERYONE who goes through must walk and children can NOT be carried.  If they’re too young to walk, they’re too young, period.  Dark Hour contains moist & uneven walking surfaces and areas of total darkness. It is not safe or wise to carry a small child. Please use your discretion as a parent before purchasing a ticket for your child. Like many large events, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.
